I’d like for there to be information on 1) how to properly engage in activism 2) how to cope while being Black in imperialist countries 3) some educational pieces on the history of activism, old activists, etc or Black history that we don’t normally learn about!
Would it be helpful to add a thread on education that purposes in sharing historical information through non-fiction books, links to articles, storytelling, etc.?
Also, if you would like to receive opinions and advice on coping (beyond regular WTN posts), please feel free to add an inquiry in the mental health thread!
I’d love to hear more about intersectionality and how we can continue to create/advocate for spaces that amplify intersectional experiences & individuals.
I hope that from this site and others similar, we can move into creating larger meida plaforms that include minority alliances. This forum, for example, has the intent that you mentioned. A space for diverse Black experiences, diverse brown experiences, diverse red experiences and diverse yellow experiences can come together in honest discussion of what our goals are as a collective group in opposition to the white global hegemony.

One of our correspondents will be responding to you shortly as she has been compiling a list all day in preparation of this question
I think a weekly wrap up of events would be helpful! Maybe what happened in major cities or what is coming up

What can I, as an ally, do on my own to lessen the burden of education for POC? (I realize the irony of this question)
